Train with Us
Our mission is to create accessible, innovative cultural arts experiences and to bridge the arts opportunity gap by cultivating inclusive arts experiences for all.
Founded in 2010 by Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, OFVS is a non-profit 501(c)3 performance and arts education organization that produces productions from full scale to showcase, and provides educational performing arts programming to the east end community of Long Island.
If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to build a theatre company. We are so grateful for the support and experiences we have had in our almost 11 years serving the east end, and this fall we are excited to be expanding into new spaces! Help us lay a solid foundation for our students as we work to provide high quality training facilities and navigate safe arts programming in these unprecedented times.

OFVS has made such a positive impact on the community! Those involved gain a wealth of knowledge about the inner-workings of theater and many valuable life lessons - working on a team, meeting deadlines, managing a demanding schedule, facing fears and persevering. The students end the production with more confidence and a sense of accomplishment and pride and it is FABULOUS! What more could we want for our youth?
"Our daughter Melanie has been a part of OFVS since 2018 and has been loving it ever since! OFVS helps people of all ages get on stage, whether it’s acting, singing, or dancing, there is something for everyone!"
“Becoming a part of the OFVS family has been life-changing for our son. His self-confidence has sky-rocketed, and he has made so many new friends. He has been given the opportunity to explore his creative side and share his talents in a safe and nurturing environment. We love OFVS!”
Really. Ask us anything.
